The second in the Sacred Spaces series, this stunning picture is needle felted onto a wet felted base.  Depicting standing stones at the very first light of day, the tawny owl in mid flight looks as if she is about to catch the shooting star  shown in the centre of the  image. A mixture of rare breed wool and merino was used to wet felt the base, with the owl and detailing created in rare breed British wool.

The picture is framed behind clarity glass in a silvered box frame and measures approximately 750mm wide by 950mm high
